Mainline sewers, manholes, grease traps, septic tanks, and lift stations — installed and maintained to spec.

Sewer work is unforgiving: grades have to be exact, bedding and backfill have to be right, and every connection has to pass inspection the first time. Risen Excavation installs and maintains mainline sewers, manholes, grease traps, septic tanks, and lift stations for commercial and residential projects across San Diego and Southern California.

With more than two decades in underground construction, we work confidently in every soil condition the region throws at us — from sandy coastal soils to decomposed granite — using the sloping, shoring, and trench-safety practices each site demands. We routinely install PVC, SDR 35, C900, and ductile iron piping to municipal and county standards.

From a single septic tank to a complete mainline with structures, we handle excavation, pipe laying, bedding, backfill, and compaction so your sewer scope closes out clean.
